Three months ago, I was introduced to Joel. We met at a distance, over the phone. My short-term goal: an Ironman 70.3 to 2017. However, more than that, I wanted a coach who would motivate me to keep a record of training, not only for my initial goal, but for a lifestyle.
Early on, I could see the difference from a really personalized workout. Total Motivation! Despite the physical distance, Joel was always very present with constant attention, instructive videos, etc. It felt like we were side by side. In fact it is what has happened!
To further increase the challenge, with less than two months to go, I found that the New York marathon fell on my 40s day. How to stop celebrating running “the marathon” ?! Joel accepted the challenge, and we made a radical change in the training plan for that goal. Goal set, goal accomplished! Concludes the marathon very well, of course with the encouragement of the family who was present encouraging a lot.
Now we are back to the goal of Ironman 70.3, which will be in Puerto Rico, and who knows a Full later!
